Network infrastructure
Access control and video surveillance run on the network — if Wi-Fi is unstable and cabling was run without a plan, the whole system suffers. That's why we always design the network separately, before installing anything else. Equipment grade is a project decision: we are not tied to a single manufacturer.
What it consists of
Structured cabling
Cable is run to a plan in Cat6 or Cat6a, labeled, and terminated into a patch panel — no tangles, no improvisation.
Speed tiers matched to the device
1G, 2.5G, or 10G per port, sized to what's actually connected — a camera doesn't need the same port as a server.
Fibre backbone
Fibre links floors and buildings so distance and interference stop being a limit.
Wi-Fi coverage with no dead zones
Wi-Fi 6 and Wi-Fi 7 access points are placed by calculation, not by guesswork — including open space and meeting rooms.
Network segmentation (VLAN)
Guest Wi-Fi, the working network, and video surveillance are isolated from one another.
Firewall and DMZ
A firewall sits at the perimeter; public-facing services are isolated in a DMZ instead of sitting on the internal network.
VPN
Site-to-site and client VPN connect remote offices and staff securely, without exposing internal systems.
Managed switching and PoE
Centrally managed switches power access points, cameras, and readers directly over the network cable — no separate power runs.
Monitored uptime
Switches and access points are monitored for uptime as part of the overall property monitoring.
Application control and traffic visibility
Available as an add-on under a separate agreement with the client, for visibility into what's actually running on the network.
